The Roval Terra Aero CLX is a high-performance gravel racing wheelset developed for riders who demand aerodynamic efficiency without sacrificing the weight and stability required for rough gravel terrain. As gravel racing continues to reach higher speeds, aerodynamic performance becomes increasingly important, and the Terra Aero CLX brings aero-focused design to a lightweight gravel platform.
Featuring Roval's first-of-its-kind 50mm Chopped Aero Speed design, the Terra Aero CLX is engineered to deliver the aerodynamic speed associated with a deeper road wheel while maintaining the weight and stability characteristics of a shallower gravel rim. Compared with the previous generation, the wheelset is up to 5.84 watts faster.

Chopped Aero Speed Design
The Terra Aero CLX features Roval's 50mm Chopped Aero Speed shaping, developed to combine aerodynamic performance with the weight and stability expected from a gravel racing wheelset.
The design is intended to provide aerodynamic speed comparable to a 70mm-deep road wheel while maintaining the lighter weight and stability characteristics of a shallow gravel rim. This allows riders to pursue aerodynamic gains without moving away from the demands of rough and unpredictable gravel racing.
Aerodynamic Performance
Compared with the previous-generation wheelset, the Terra Aero CLX is up to 5.84 watts faster. Its aerodynamic profile is designed around the higher speeds encountered in modern gravel racing, where aerodynamic drag can have an increasing effect on performance.
Roval Aero Composite Spokes by ARRIS
The Terra Aero CLX uses Roval Aero Composite Spokes by ARRIS. These composite spokes are designed to outperform traditional round spoke profiles, delivering an aerodynamic advantage of approximately 0.3 to 0.5 watts according to Roval's specifications.
Lightweight Gravel Racing Construction
