The 2025 Specialized Crux Expert is built for riders who want pure gravel performance with no compromises. With clearance for massive tires up to 47c and a purpose-built gravel geometry, the Crux delivers speed, control, and confidence across the roughest terrain.

Designed with the same philosophy as the ultra-light Aethos, the Crux reimagines carbon construction to achieve astonishing weight savings without sacrificing durability or ride quality. It accelerates effortlessly, climbs steep gravel roads with ease, and floats over technical terrain.

Lightweight Carbon Gravel Engineering

The FACT 10r carbon frame weighs just 825 grams, while the S-Works 12r version tips the scales at only 725 grams. This makes the Crux lighter than a full water bottle, yet incredibly stiff and responsive when pushing hard on climbs or sprinting out of corners.

SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS Wireless Drivetrain

Equipped with SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS, the Crux Expert delivers fast, precise, and completely wireless shifting. The 1x12 drivetrain with a 10–44T cassette offers a wide gear range ideal for gravel racing and long adventure rides.

Hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful and consistent stopping performance, while the Roval Terra C carbon wheels keep rolling resistance low and durability high.

Ride-Through Capability & Gravel Geometry
